Open Month

Are you considering joining TeniSTA, and curious about what it’s actually like to be a member? Come join our open month and experience it yourself! The TeniSTA open month takes place from September 9th to September 27th. We organize a variety of open activities, which you can sign up for using this form. Everyone is welcome, so grab your tennis racket and head on over to Aemstelburgh to experience TeniSTA firsthand.

During the open month, you can participate in the following activities:

Open Training – Wednesday 10th, 17th & 24th of September
If you are looking to improve your tennis skills so you can show off at the toss, there is no better way than to join one of our open trainings. These trainings are held weekly on Wednesday during the open month, and you will be added to a training group based on your tennis level. Sign up quickly because we have limited spots!

Open Toss – Thursday 11th, 18th & 25th September
Show off your tennis skills by joining our weekly toss. During the toss, we gather together at Aemstelburgh and play fun tennis games and matches against each other in random combinations, with great music playing in the background. At the toss, levels and scores do not matter, and we are all there to have fun, play some tennis, and get to know one another. There is also a bar right next to the courts if you want to stay for a drink afterwards – the perfect opportunity to meet everybody and maybe even receive some helpful tips from the best players of the club!

Special Open Toss – 18th of September
During the open month, we will organize one special toss, in the style of a mini tournament. You will be divided into teams and play short matches against each other. So hone up your tennis skills and get ready to lead your team to victory!

Dinner before the toss – 25th of September
During the open month, we will host a special dinner at Aemstelburgh before the toss on the 25th of September. Come join us to get to know your fellow members, old and new, while enjoying some delicious food, and special beer for a discounted price.

Open Party – Saturday 27th of September
To close the open month off with a bang, and provide a great start to the upcoming year, we will host an open party on Saturday, September 27, at the Kopstootbar in Leidespein. This is a great way to get to know your fellow members outside of a tennis setting! Everyone is welcome, so don’t hesitate to sign up and come by in your best party outfits!
